PH212 Medieval Philosophy is a survey of the major medieval thinkers from Augustine through Anselm to Thomas Aquinas and beyond to others. As part of this class you have the opportunity to travel to Nijmegen, Netherlands home to Radboud University. Saint Anselm students will read pertinent texts, hear lectures from Saint Anselm and Dutch faculty, engage in discussion with Dutch students, and visit museums and sites that historically mark the formation of Europe’s philosophical and theological world-view. Such sites include selected landmarks and museums in Amsterdam and Nijmegen in the Netherlands, and Aachen in Germany.
